Advocacy was my first passion before becoming a psychologist. Team Project Rise was created in 2021 with an incredible team of professionals with our children's mental health in mind.
No one expected COVID-19 to be here this long. As students around the country are returning to their classrooms, teachers need to feel safe but they also need to be trained on post COVID-19 mental health stressors students may experience. Teachers will be like first responders and education is power.
